Merry Christmas from Thai Creations!

This year, for the first time in awhile, I was in Vancouver for the holidays. The last few years I’ve been traveling back to Thailand during the winters, to enhance my fruit and vegetable carving skills and spend time with my Thailand family.

However, this year, both my son and daughter were in Vancouver, and I decided to stay in Canada as well to see them altogether for the first time in 4 years. To help celebrate Christmas, I carved a centrepiece to take to my son’s fiancee’s mother’s house for Christmas dinner. To do so, I carved some beets into roses and watermelon into leaves, adding in some live vegetation to add to the mix.

Here is the creation that I came up with!
